Chris Wedge, creator of the money-printing "Ice Age" franchise for Fox, is eyeing what could be his first live-action project, Variety's Rachel Abrams (@RachelAbramsDV) exclusively reports. Wedge's production company has acquired Paul Hoffman's book "Wings of Madness: Alberto Santos-Dumont and the Invention of Flight," the biography of turn-of-the-century Parisian inventor/socialite who was obsessed with flight.
