Stanley Tucci will play Caesar Flickerman in “The Hunger Games,” Lionsgate announced today. The character is the flamboyant, smooth-talking host of the annual death match at the center of the tale, set in the future ruins of North America. Tucci (“The Devil Wears Prada,” “The Lovely Bones”) joins a cast that includes -- as SHOWBLITZ first reported -- Elizabeth Banks as Effie Trinket and Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss.
