D.J. Cotrona in talks for role in 'G.I. Joe' sequel
D.J. Cotrona ("Dear John") is in talks for a role in “G.I. Joe: Cobra Strikes," Variety's Jeff Sneider exclusively reports. The “Detroit 1-8-7” star would play Flint, the warrant officer for the Joes. Character is a Rhodes Scholar and a master tactician who is recruited by team leader Duke, a character Channing Tatum will reprise in the sequel. Thesp joins Dwayne Johnson and Elodie Yung (“District 13: Ultimatum”) as a new member of the franchise, which sees Ray Park, Jonathan Pryce and Byung Hun Lee returning.
