Ray Liotta back in blue for 'A Place Beyond the Pines'

Ray.liotta At this rate, Ray Liotta should be able to retire with full policeman’s pension and benefits. Liotta, who's been in at least 10 films as a cop or detective, will play a corrupt police officer in “A Place Beyond the Pines," Variety's Justin Kroll exclusively reports. "Pines" is the true story of a pro motorcycle racer (Ryan Gosling) who starts robbing banks until he runs into a determined young cop (Bradley Cooper). You may remember Liotta in blue from “Unlawful Entry,” “Cop Land,” “Narc,” “Smokin’ Aces,” “Observe and Report,” “Hannibal,” “John Q,” “Hero Wanted,” “The River Sorrow” and most recently, “Date Night.”
