Ugly Betty is trying on some blue. America Ferrera has just signed on to play a female cop in the Jake Gyllenhaal/Anna Kendrick in "End of Watch," Variety's Josh Dickey exclusively reports. Ferrara's character, last name Orozco, will be a main s supporting role, a nice adult-drama get after "Ugly Betty" ended its run. Since her show sunsetted last spring, Ferrara has landed voice work in "How to Train Your Dragon 2" and a short arc in "The Good Wife."
