Disney and Jerry Bruckheimer have lassoed Ruth Wilson for a role in “Lone Ranger” opposite Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer. The British actress is in talks to play Rebecca Reid, who is married to Dan Reid, head of the Rangers and brother of Hammer’s John Reid, who dons the black mask to fight crime as the Lone Ranger. Wilson is best known for her role in the BBC crime drama “Luther,” in which she starred opposite Idris Elba, and the network’s miniseries “Jane Eyre.”
