Good 'Company': Shia LaBeouf And Robert Redford Paired For Thriller

Robshia

Robert Redford and Shia LaBeouf are set to star in political action thriller “The Company You Keep,” as Variety's Jeff Sneider and Diana Lodderhouse exclusively report. Lem Dobbs adapted "Company" from a novel by Neil Gordon, and Redford is set to direct. He'll also play a former Weather Underground militant wanted by the FBI for 30 years who must go on the run when a young, ambitious reporter exposes his true identity. LaBeouf, fresh off his box office hit "Transformers: Dark of the Moon," will play that budding journalist, who’s determined to make a name for himself. Voltage's Nicolas Chartier, who is attached to produce the flick, anticipates "The Company You Keep" to be an "edge-of-your seat thriller" and says it's "amazing to have Shia LaBeouf ... paired with global icon Robert Redford." Production on "Company" will begin this September in Vancouver.
