The Glover Fits In 'Freaky Deaky'

Crispin Showblitz recently reported that crime novel adaptation "Freaky Deaky" had a major casting shakeup, replacing several major actors with thesps Billy Burke, Christian Slater and newcomer Breanne Racano. Now, Crispin Glover will be getting "Freaky" too, as Variety's Jeff Sneider exclusively reports. In a role originally eyed for William H. Macy, Glover will play Woody Ricks, an alcoholic movie mogul oppostie Tom Arnold, who is in negotiations to play Ricks's brother. "Freaky Deaky," an adaptation of Elmore Leonard's novel, will be helmed by Charlie Matthau. Other recent cast additions include Roger Bart, Bill Duke, Sabina Gadecki and former blaxploitation actress Gloria Hendry. Production for "Freaky Deaky" is currently under way in Michigan.
