Newcomer Mackenzie Davis and “Scream 4” star Nico Tortorella (at left) are in negotiations for two key roles in Drake Doremus’ untitled feature, as Variety's Jeff Sneider reports exclusively. Guy Pearce, Amy Ryan and Felicity Jones are set to star in the pic, which finds Pearce playing a high school teacher who’s tempted to cheat on his wife (Ryan) with one of his students (Jones). Davis will play Pearce and Ryan’s daughter, while Tortorella will play a supporting character named Aaron, a popular jock on the swim team who has a reputation for sleeping with girls and treating them poorly. Doremus is directing from a script he wrote with Ben York Jones — though like with “Crazy,” the cast is required to improvise.
