Robert Duvall is looking to team up with his “Days of Thunder” co-star, as the veteran actor is in final negotiations to join the cast of ONE SHOT starring Tom Cruise, Variety's Justin Kroll exclusively reports. The book series by Lee Child follows Jack Reacher, a former military policeman turned drifter. In “One Shot,” Reacher investigates the case of a sniper accused of murdering five people before being captured. Details about Duvall’s character weren’t revealed — and though it is a small role, insiders say it is significant to Reacher’s story line.
