Are 'X-Men' scribes ready for the Danger Zone? Miller and Stentz ready to pen 'Top Gun' sequel

Top-GunEXCLUSIVE: When most people heard Paramount was thinking about a TOP GUN sequel, the news hardly got fans up on their feet in applause. The latest news, however, might be a good sign that Paramount is taking this film very seriously -- they've brought in "X-Men: First Class" scribes Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz, who did a great job of revamping a franchise that had seen better days. No word yet on what part Tony Scott or Tom Cruise would have on the film, but I think it is almost best to start on a fresh slate -- just like X-MEN: FIRST CLASS did. -Justin Kroll
