Michelle Monaghan is set to star as an Afghanistan war vet in the upcoming indie drama FORT BLISS, as Variety's Dave McNary exclusively reports. Claudia Myers will be directing the film from her own script. Story centers on a female soldier transferred home after a long tour in Afghanistan struggles to relearn how to feel to rebuild her relationship with her five-year-old son. Shooting starts in June 2012 in New Mexico.
