The producers and studio who brought THE TWILIGHT SAGA to the bigscreen are segueing from the undead to the dead, as Summit Entertainment has purchased spec script IN THE FLESH, the tale of two ghosts in love, Variety's Josh Dickey exclusively reports. Kristin Hahn, longtime friend and producing partner of Jennifer Aniston, adapted the script from the teen spirit novel “A Certain Slant of Light,” which centers on a young woman, dead 130 years on, whose guilt prevents her from going to heaven. She falls in love with another wayward spirit, who shows her how to inhabit a mortal body whose own spirit has died. Hahn will produce along “The Twilight Saga” producers Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey, who tell SHOWBLITZ that the search for a director begins shortly.
