The Old Crockett joins the new Tubbs as Johnson gets 'Unchained'

Vice
EXCLUSIVE: By now, most people can agree that when it comes to assembling an original and unique ensemble, nobody does better than Quentin Tarantino -- and his latest cast, for DJANGO UNCHAINED, is only getting better. Tarantino has now added MIAMI VICE star Don Johnson to his cast after a four-month courtship. The irony is that the star of DJANGO is Jaime Foxx, who actually played Ricardo Tubbs in the film version of the classic TV show. No writer-director has a better handle on who should play each character in his projects better than QT -- but with DJANGO, I have found every casting, no matter how small, to be something of a small treasure. Can't wait to see who he picks for his female lead.  -- Justin Kroll
