Universal is in negotiations to reteam director Baltasar Kormakur with Mark Wahlberg on the action pic 2 GUNS, as Variety's Justin Kroll exclusively reports. The pair has already worked together on 2012's CONTRABAND, set for a January 13 release. 2 GUNS will follow a DEA agent and an undercover naval intelligence officer who unwittingly investigate each other as each steals mob money. David O. Russell rewrote a script penned by Blake Masters, who adapted Steven Grant's graphic novel.
