EXCLUSIVE: “I’ll be there for you,” went the “Friends” theme song, and now David Schwimmer will express a similar sentiment toward Ray Liotta in Ariel Vroman’s mob-centric indie THE ICEMAN, reports Variety’s Jeff Sneider. Michael Shannon toplines the Nu Image/Millennium Films and Bleiberg Entertainment pic as Richard Kuklinski, a family man by day and a notorious contract killer by night. Schwimmer will take some time out from his blossoming directing career to play Josh Rosenthal, a killer who works for mob boss Roy Demeo (Liotta).
