Noble Jones tapped to re-adapt 'American Psycho'
EXCLUSIVE: Lionsgate has tapped Noble Jones to adapt and direct a new version of AMERICAN PSYCHO based on the Bret Easton Ellis novel that was previously turned into a film in 2000 starring Christian Bale, Variety's Jeff Sneider reports. Project, which has not yet been greenlit at Lionsgate, is currently in development at the studio. Jones, whose only imdb credit is as the second-unit director for THE SOCIAL NETWORK, plans a low-budget version that hews closer to Easton Ellis' 1991 satirical tome.
