Favreau out front for 'Jersey Boys' gig
EXCLUSIVE: Jon Favreau has emerged as the frontrunner to helm GK Films’ JERSEY BOYS, Graham King’s bigscreen adaptation of the hit Broadway musical “Jersey Boys: The Story of Frankie Vallie & The Four Seasons.” Story centers around Vallie and the other members of pop music sensation the Four Seasons during their rise to superstardom. Stage version opened on Broadway in 2005 and has since held more than 200 performances. BOYS would mark Favreau’s first directing gig after a trio of on-screen roles, including PEOPLE LIKE US, IRON MAN 3 and IDENTITY THIEF.
