Woods in talks for 'White House Down'

JameswoodsEXCLUSIVE: James Woods is in early talks to join the cast of Sony's WHITE HOUSE DOWN starring Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx, reports Variety's Justin Kroll.

Roland Emmerich will helm from a script by THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN scribe James Vanderbilt.

In the pic, Tatum plays a Secret Service agent who leaps into action to defend the president when a paramilitary group takes over the White House and holds everyone inside hostage. If a deal were to close, Woods would play the head of the presidential detail.
