Michelle Williams has been picked by Disney for the role of Glinda, the good witch, for the upcoming “Oz, The Great and Powerful“. With the casting of Williams completing the three witches, the film will now head into production with shooting to start in July in Michigan. Williams’ character will join forces with James Franco to fight off the evil sister witches portrayed by Mila Kunis and Rachel Weisz, who plan to take control of the Land of Oz. The movie will be helmed by Sam Raimi, which is a prequel to “The Wizard of Oz” and is slated for a fall 2012 release.
