Exclusive News: After the huge success of The Notebook, Nick Cassavetes is set to direct ‘Cali’, a gritty action film that stars Kristen Stewart.

The film tells of a couple from San Fernando Valley who decides to use a fake snuff movie to earn a load of cash. A few years after, Stewart’s character must return from her hiding in order to save the sister she abandoned. Voltage Pictures is set to sell the film to the Cannes Film Market.

Nick Cassavetes is widely known as the director of the Nicholas Sparks’ movie adaptation of ‘The Notebook’. He is also the director for ‘Alpha Dog’. He has also recently starred in ‘The Hangover Part II.’
