Hans Zimmer, the score composer of Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy is being tapped again for the new Man of Steel. Aside from the Batman trilogy, Zimmer and Nolan have also worked together in the movie “Inception “, which earned him an Oscar nomination.  His last win was for the Disney movie, The Lion King. He has nine other Oscar nominations to date. In 1978, John William’s received an Oscar nomination for the iconic Superman theme.
